Our Class Valentine Hand Heart!


This is the card our class made for Valentines Day this year! I saw the idea on Pinterest but it was in different colors and it was for a Martin Luther King Jr. activity. I decided to use red and I made a card for our families. The card was made on my MacBook  using iphoto and it was super easy! Taking the picture on the other hand was NOT easy! Trying to get this many kiddos with special needs to stand still was quite a task! Just when you think you had one back.....another one would slip away! It took a while but I am sooooo happy with the results! Love Love Love it!

    I LOVE this picture. Everything in my classroom centers around being a helpful heart. I pinned a picture similar to this and plan to use it at the beginning of next year when we talk about building Our School Family.

    You made me laugh when you talked about them "slipping away"! Ha. =)

    Your blog is adorable. Be sure and add a follow button when you get the chance. You can go to the top of your blog and click on design and then layout. Choose add a gadget and you should be able to find it there.

    Heather--thank you sooo much! I loved the picture too! It seriously was a challenge getting 20 kids with special needs to stay still...it was almost comical. :-) I should have taken a video!

    I have been trying to figure out that darn widget but ugh I just can not get it! I am off to try again and I will come visit you for sure! :-)

    When you go to layout, you'll have a sidebar appear on the left. Click on the add a gadget at the top of that sidebar, the button you want to add is the 2nd one. If you cannot get that to work, I would contact Honey Bunch and see if she can help you since she designed your blog.

    I hope this helps and gets it to work for you.

    Here is how you can add the one with the faces:

    1. Go to design.
    2. Go to layout.
    3 Click on add a gadget.
    4. Click on more gadgets.
    5. The follow one will be the last one on that page (#25)
